Can't be just due to incorrect tyre pressure. May be pressure gauge difference between the place where you used to fill air earlier and the place where you filled nitrogen(Lokmanya tyres).
Wider tyres would reduce fuel economy to certain extent, but not this 4.xx kmpl (almost 20% in your case).[/quote]
I haven't done any air/nitrogen filling since I got the new wheels filled with nitrogen.

sachinj12 I always fill at company run B.P Pumps. And I always do a auto-fill full tank.
I will up the pressure to your recommendations as I'm running on 30psi on all tyres right now. Hope this helps out.
On the other hand am wondering if I was driving nutty with the new set of wheels & new confidence in breaking. Yeah-may be. The steering is got a bit heavier though.

185/65-14 is 3200 per tire and IIRC, 195/60-14 should cost around 3500 per tire.

Are the A Drives available in this size: 165/75/13 ? If they are, how much would one tyre cost approximately?

Picked up A Drives 185/70/R13 for Accent last week @3250 per tire. She feels like she is floating in air.

No, it won't.
Only better suspension can help you.

An i10. Stock is 155/80/13, and I wanted to upsize by 1. 175s wouldn't be a good idea on the stock steel rims. What are my options in that size?

I would suggest going for ES100's (if they appeal to you that is) as they are going for 4000 - 4200 approx for 195/60/14. 185/60 R14 ES100's are going for 3850 in kolkata.

Razor, i think the i10 comes with 5.5J stock rims, so getting 175's shouldn't be a problem. Check for i10 related info on the forum.

Find stock Verna steel rims and put 175/65-14 tires. Thats the best option in 175.

Can anyone provide me the contact details of Yokohama india or their website.I had changed my stock santro tyres last year to yokohama 165/65/13. And after ~12k Km the front tyres are spoilt.I can see steel/metal threads on both the front tyres on the inside. What might be the problem,I am going to the tyre dealer today.
