A drives are around 3400.

C Drives are around 3800

ES100s are around 3500.

No S Drives in this size.

Thought they stopped ES 100.

Of these which are uni-directional or all rounder? Or, can you classify these.

JK sir , you should know this by heart now!

A Drive are economy, budget tyres. Symmetrical.

C drives are premium asymmetric tyres. They grip well while giving a very soft and cushy ride.

ES100s are sporty tyres. Noisy, shorter life but grip decently AFAIK. They are unidirectional.

What are the Yoko options and indicative prices for the Civic? Considering 205/60/15.

Only A drive and ES100. stay away from Yoko in this size, especially for a Civic.

My suggestion would be the Conti CPC2.

Upgraded to A Drives on my Ikon (stock size 175/70 R13) a couple of months back, thanks to Nikhil. Next day after upgrading drove down to Coonoor and oh did I feel a difference from the stock ZVTS.

The A Drives do the job they are meant to do, provide decent comfort. They absorb the pot holes pretty well too. The car handled high speeds much better as well, and felt much more stable. The road noise is also noticeably lower than the ZVTS.

Overall, I love these tyres. Complete VFM.

It depends which model of Getz you are referring to. Most did come with 175/70 R13. SOme older models came with 155/80 R13.

The Getz diesel came with 175/65 R14.

175/70/ R14. This is the Getz petrol, 2004 GLSversion , the first one

After all the price increase it is now 2900. And dont forget, Karnataka has 13.5% VAT now, compared to the 12.5% earlier!

Guys any idea of the prices for A Drives in the 175/65-14 and 185/60-14 formats.

While the first one is my car's stock tyre size, the latter is one size up with a minor difference to the aspect ratio. Just wondering between the two which one to plonk in before the monsoons start full blast.

Please dont go in for 185/60 R14. Your ride quality will take a beating.

Stick to 175/65 R14 or 185/65 R14.

A drives in 175/65 R14 will cost 3370 and in 185/65 R14 cost 3420. C drives in 185/65 R4 cost 3570.

Thanks for the super prompt reply Nikhil!

Are you sure the 185/60 is going to be that bad? The difference in sidewall height is about 2-3mm!

I had eliminated 185/65 for that reason that the change in sidewall height will be to the tune of 6-7mm and the speedo/odo reading might go a bit off.

The C-Drive looks tempting, how is the Wet Grip performance & Noise production of A-Drive Vs C-Drive, any idea?
