thank you man.pics are nice.now the car looks great.i dont know why maruti doesnt give 185/70 R14 with alloy wheels as stock for all models...it is like a well built man with thin legs....whether the dealer only took the tyre and rims back? how much they valued for that ? any spoilers are available for ritz.

whether the upsized 185/70 R14 tyres (michelin xm+) can be put in to the stock steel rims(if i dont want to spent much money) in VXI model.

You can fit the new tyres on the stock steel rims itself. No issues with that.

Thanks man.the pics are awesome and now the car looks gr8.i dont know why maruti is not providing 185/70/ R 14 tyres as stock tyres on all models it is like a well built man with thin legs.Teel me did the car dealer itself took the tyres and steel rims back how much did he value for that.

One more question whether we can put 185/70 R14 tyres on the stock steel rims, without changing in to alloy wheels

thanks man, how will be the looks? any considerable improvement on the looks will be there, or just the comfort and performance will improve?

The tyre dealer took the old wheels and tyres back. I hope funda2max doesnt mind me answering on his behalf!

The vehicle will definitely look better as the broader tyres will give it a more sturdy look. Performance and comfort will go up by leagues.

Thanks Nikhil !!! It was a gr8 news !!! I was having a notion 185/70 R 14 tyres cant be put on the stock steel rims and even if i put it wont improve the looks. I hope 185/70 R 14 tyres on alloy wheels will give a great look for the car than on steel rims.

I extend my gratitude towards Team - BHP and its members for the support given and i am happy to be part of it. I was finding it tough to find people with same taste for cars, even though some are there but they are not so specific about tyres and all. Here in kolkata i didnt find any. Trying hard to come back to south so as to meet some of you people.

After changing the tyres, ride quality was 100% improved inside city as well as control was quite good at the highways. It is worth to upgrade to a better Tyre for Ritz, believe me!

Guys i checked with Sai service in kochi they told they will value the stock tyres for 900 each.whehter i can get a better deal anywhere else in kochi or thrissur? Some suggested of exchanging at a tyre dealer rather than car delaer soon after you get the car delivered.Anyone can help on this regard, anyone has experience with pitstop (tyre dealer) which has come up in Kochi bypass?

Those Apollo alloys will look quite good. This is my personal opinion.

Secondly, steering will become a little heavy, but not so heavy that you need to worry about it. Steering being slightly heavy is a small price to pay for the better comfort, lesser road noise, etc...

hi gurus

Can u suggest some less costlier tyres than Michelin XM1+ ,tyre size (185/70 R14) which comes in the range of 2000-3000,which are good in looks and performance.

One more suggestion i am bit confused with whcih color to choose for Ritz.I am confused b/w white and silver. The white which is coming in swift is the best but that same white is not coming in ritz....
