I was thinking about the goodyear eagles myself but a few people tell me they're too noisy.

Ok can anyone tell me which is best size of alloys i should get to have good low profile
tyres like the eagles on?

I have 185/65 R 14 Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 on my Baleno and they are certainly MUCH less noisy then the Bridgestones othat I have owned in the past. In fact they are also silent compared to the 155/80 R 13 Michelin Tubeless that I have on My Uno.
My advice also would be to go for 185/65 R 14 ..any lower profile and be prepared for a bone jarring ride ...especially if you dont want to reduce your FE by running them on 22 PSI.

Ok, i've made this diagram to help understand how the diff wheel/tyre sizes look and differ from each other.

Tyres in question are 185/65 R14 and 195/55 R15, so here they are.

This is how they will look when viewed from the side.

Ok thanks... i spoke to iceman about this too.... I've decided to go for 15" alloys with 195/55 goodyear eagle tyres because i'll be using the car monday-saturday in the city and only sundays will go to the outskirts so the performance factor of the eagles will not come into use a lot....

Hey Guys I'm planning to upgrade my tyres in Baleno to 185/70 R 13. Are Bridgestone tyres any good ?

The dealer is giving me Bridgestone tyres cheaper than Goodyear ones in exchange for my stock tyres.

Goodyear will make less noise....why dont you try Michelins.../ Pirelli as well...Michelins are imported (made in thailand) and come with a very good finish....and low road noise....last quite a bit too...My Uno has already done 21 K on the and they seem tobe ready for another 30 k....

Depends on which Bridgestone tyre you are talking about... Bridgestone Potenza GIII that I have bought for my Swift in 185/70/14 were more expensive than Goodyear GSD2, Ventura, and NCT5.

So dont go for any Bridgestone... Go for Potenza GIII

I would never advise an aspect ratio of 50 unless you are going for suspension modification as well.

your ground clearance will go down by 10 (ok..9.75) mm....not worth it with the kind of speed breakers in our city.

10mm lower does not affect much...my acr was lowered by 20mm and it did not hit anywhere except a few speedbreakers where even the tock car touches

I'm going to get skirtings on the car as well which will make it even low so i will need to get spacers for the suspension to give the car a little more height right?
