It seems that some filmwallah bought the car, I could not trace it thereafter.

Hi Aniruddh,

This picture has been taken in Pandit & co. Delhi. This was apparently his car at a point of time. This same pic has been posted earlier. For reference post 40 of the following thread - http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/vintag...d-india-3.html

Regards

Indrojit

This may be the other car lying in Calcutta. I believe it is not for sale, typical situation of fathers / grandfathers car, not that it is being restored or maintained. Do not know the present situation but it is a Pontiac Streamliner 1947.

This car is now featured in the thread . This car was offered to me some time back and was actually a chopped top and was in Nagpur. Can be clarified by anyone ?

I believe that this car is with a dealer in Chennai, and is for sale.

This is another Pontiac, a Tempest LeMans convertible. Now in Delhi. I believe that the first owner was a Dubash, then the car went to Gujrat, came back to Mumbai and on to Delhi.

Cheers harit

Well maintained car 1946-47. Am seeing the pic on my mobile, am a bit unsure if the front bumper is the correct one though.
