Judging remains a huge problem on account of lack of transparency which leads to biased judging. Owners are also to blame for misleading judges with undocumented history and making up original car specs. There should also be clear specs as to which cars can be brought for judging. For example those two Amby's with original number plates only should not be eligible for judging, it would be otherwise be a waste of time.

I would like to share with you the judging specs from the Plymouth Owners Club. Once you read this document you will understand the importance of transparency and how this will lead to unbiased judging. I hope at some time the clubs in India with mature in their judging parameters. The restoration quality in India is becoming world class and this must be encouraged with proper judging.

Thanks Kevin and Karl. Beautiful pictures. Its really sad when I hear "motorcycles were not adequately represented." Is it because it wasnt given much importance by the organizers or such events?

The redhunter looks really really good. No offence to the Jawa owner but in the picture the color just does not come anywhere close to the original shade. But as usual, I just love it when a Jawa wins (it always is a winner).

Re: VCCCI Vintage Car Fiesta Mumbai - 4th March 2012

I am zapped to see so many Immaculate condition vintage cars here in India. I feel people here have got the taste of how they do it over there. All the cars are superbly detailed and hats of to their respectable owners.

Really enjoyed the pictures especially the Alfa Romeos, Mercedes, Fiats and the Yellow Beetle convertible are my favorites. Would have loved to see & hear them in flesh.

Keep it up VCCI

PS : Only grey area were the Classic Ambassadors 'KILLED' by their owners!

It was king george the 6th, queen elizabeth was from 1952 onwards, i think. But why should it surprise anyone abut myths are created. today the press feeds on myths, no one does their research, most reporters dont have a research oriented backround. Sad but true
