@esskay - Except for the MG Midget, the others hardly seem to be contenders for the "Rust in Peace" thread! Cant these be restored?

There is no MG Midget that I see. The car in picture 6 is a Triumph Spitfire.

Yes ! i think you are right, some pics are out of topic. my idea was just to share it with everyone.

Oops Mr. X-Ray eyes, my bad! I just had a cursory glance at the profile of the car earlier, and thought it was a Midget.

It IS a Triumph Spitfire. The sunken headlights and kinked door-line are unmistakeable. Forgive me!

@Esskay

If that first ride in your pictures is for sale, I'd love to restore it and bring it back to life. I know exactly what to do with it!

Comments on the pics posted by esskay.

The first Chevy is pillarless, so already better than a 4 door normal sedan. She seems to be on the road as position has changed. Please check if original engine is fitted. Trims seems fine, wheelcaps may be removed, but are available. Some damage seems to be seen on the trim on the front bonnet. Nice car, collectable and will be fun.
The Fleetmaster looks restorable, but we do not know what engine is fitted. <probably a worthy project.
The Triumph seems to have a lot of trim missing, maybe removed. Check the engine, in some cars Standard Herald engines were put.

Note for anyone interested! If some one posts these pictures to get an opinion, please post engine pics, interior and inform about availability of parts missing on the vehicle. Also, alway check status of registration books.

Cheers harit

Thats a beautiful 1963 Impala Sport Sedan which is nothing but a four door hardtop pillar less model.

In good nick and very restorable too. That what American cars were made of in those days; bullet proof engines and the hard chrome would last almost forever if maintained properly.

Since this one is a LHd i would hazard it to be a V-8 with Automatic transmission.

Thanks for sharing the pix, Ram. Like I said this is one of my favourite combos (dark vinyl on certain shades of gold or copper), ever since I first saw it on a MkIII Cortina. Also vividly remember a black-on-white standing next to it in the showroom that looked very inviting too.

Although Blue is the absolute ruler in my heart and mindspace, these tones are real classics too and never fail to send the pulse racing. The Opel Astra here is the only one, I remember noticing excitedly only a few times, that briefly came with one such shade; few sightings as the shade didn't find much custom sadly. Although there has been a plethora of hues of gold on the other brands, but none very exciting. Now, you've taken me on a walk down nostalgia lane as well!
