poor thing, Indian customs is ruthless, they could have auctioned these cars on a periodic manner as done abroad rather wasting the money which would have benefit the country.

Aren't they all? One can find hundreds of confisticated vehicles in police stations and other govt agencies all across the country. Imports and indian vehicles alike.

Does anyone ever think of selling them when they are in a good condition? Nope. That would mean too much work for our babus and then they'd have to fight about who get's to embezzle how much & all that.

Really feel sorry seeing the decay. Seeing the body layout, this could well have been a foreigner driven, tourist vehicle that might have been trapped for failing to carry the scores of clearances and papers that one must carry.
The tourists must have just abandoned it and gone their own way, once these inspector raj people started quoting about the rulebook and penalties.

You are absolutely right, if you thing on that bigger line then your damn right! I say infinite number of vehicles are just rotting away to get buried into the ground, I am looking for a Jeep trailer and they are expensive in Hyderabad and one day I see a perfect looking trailer just getting under the ground (1/4 of the tyre is buried in the ground and the tub bottom is in the early stage of rotting), felt like toeing it with my jeep, so sad to see it dying like that. This is one of the stupidest way to waste public money by govt officials apart from millions of other ways which they proudly use to waste public money which I am sure they don't even re think till their retirement. Incredible India and their babus.

No, you should come a little ahead ,on the left you will see a church, it's the lane exactly opposite to that church! And Dr Sultan hospital is no more, he died a few month back!
