Where is the restoration happening ? In Trivandrum or Bangalore ? Please start a separate thread on the restoration and put up lots of pictures. Its a lovely car actually - from pictures it looks like a Third Generation Cornet - 1955-56 ?

yes it is a third gen 55-56 model(55 as i'm told). it's dieselised in it's present state but i got the original L head 6 pot and planning to plonk it in.sorry abt the pictures i dont hav any more of it.it's hapening at bglr

That's a Dodge Kingsway 1956-57 assembled in India. Or max a Special Deluxe

Hey Congrats!! I used to see this almost on a daily basis and was hoping someone would give her a new home...It was just thrown on the roadside for a long time. Do you know that place has closed down and looks like demolition work will start soon? He also had a Hillman, Landmaster etc..

The ones available here are only the 2 wheel drive ones and all have diesel engines fitted. Rates would vary depending on body condition but would mostly be in the area of 40,000 to 75,000

'been seeing this high-bonnet Willys (CJ 3B?) sitting outside a garage for a atleast a year. Looks quite decent, maybe hasnt found takers yet due to being an out-of-state regn.

Hi Stanher. Is this Jeep parked next to SBH on the Mansarovar Apts. road? It has a Mysore regn. no. IIRC
