MG Magnette

Spotted this MG Magnette on ORR-Bangalore, near Sarjapur road. The car sported a non-KA regn number and seemed to be in an very good running condition. The gentleman driving it was threading it through the traffic quite efficiently and at a good pace!

Checked on the net, it could be a Mark III or a Mark IV since both were almost identical from the outside.

My guess it had AP plates? If so it is a very fine example, knew the previous owner.

* Is the MG Magnette sticker original ? I thought it must be a stop-gap arrangement since the original chrome fittings might have been lost.

Anyway, it was nice to see this classic keeping pace with today's traffic.

This car is being driven by a friend, he looks very handsome from behind. This is his route every day, next week you should be able catch the front for a pic is you stand at the same place, similar time. Tomorrow is Sunday, after that. And yes, he does zip.
I asked about the monogram. If you look closely, you will see that the monogram is the original, but for some reason they put a darker blue background. Perhaps to hi-lite the monogram.
And the car is not his!

This Kingsway used to lie in a Pune collection till recently. She used to be in a metallic blue colour, looks nice now with the whitewalls.

Here are some poor shots of a nice 1952ish Dodge parked close by.
Not for sale and belongs to a school teacher.

Hi there Racecrafter.

Welcome to the Team!!!

Great selection of wheels you have posted. Are they all part of your collection?

I remember the first car. If i'mnot wrong this is a MG VA with a Tickord DHC body. The car was lying in a deplorable condition with a gentleman on a farm outside of Delhi.Good to know it has survived.

Whats the deal with the Triumph Roadster. Is it a 1.8 or the later 2.0 version.
