A Standard Super 10 is decked up for the Goa carnival. I think I had posted pictures of this car earlier, minus the livery.

Oh yes, you did, long ago! 'was a metallic blue then. But it looks even worse in this hue.......gawd!! Why a Standard of all the cars?!

Well i looked at some more of my pics again,i took in Febuary this year ,and came across these,which i am sure must be the same car.There cant be two of these cars in Goa surely.

Karlos,in the other thread VWs in Goa,you ask me where the opel bonnet
was standing on the beetle.Well the Opel was this one i think , and the Chevy below were

Hi, I'm going to be in India for 4 weeks from the 27 Feb. A week in Goa, 2 weeks south to Karnataka then back to Goa on an Enfield, hopfully! Am planing to visit the Ashvik Vintage World and thought I would ask if there is anything else I may find interesting on my unplaned travels? I am into classic cars, manly VW's, 4x4, offroading, and motorbikes, manly enfields, which I ride here in the UK. Any meets, rallys, or bike rides out.

Do you want contact of people who own vintages? There are some which may be available as well. In goa, these treasures are with individual and the unfortunate part is they prefer it to rust in peace than to give it to someone who want to up-keep it. I can give you some places to visit including some garages.

Wow, a Herald! Good to know some still exist in Goa! And this one is in quite good shape too. I suspect its from Pune or somewhere outside Goa. 'wish I could check out the regn.

Thanks DarshanS, would not really like to bother individuals unless I just come across such people on my travels. I know of some garages in North Goa, I sometimes pop my head into and see whats new (well old) and interesting. Would really like to visit Ashvik Vintage World on my travels south, I know roughly where it is, just before Margo, just off the highway. Is it easy to find and is it worth a visit?
