Where did you get the pics from?

Its in Miramar, has always been there. Driven around by a lady I guess.

Why not mask the number plate?

EDIT: Its now in Mapusa, painted red. The lady sold it sometime back. It used to come for servicing at the same place where I used to get the vehicles worked on.

Does anyone know the where abouts of this Splitscreen now. Took these pics last year in Goa but now seems to have disappeared for some time now. Has the early ribbed bumpers on front and rear which would make the bus late 1955 to late 58 but has the much larger rear lights red and amber.lens of a 62 to 67 I saw this bus a few times 2 years ago while in for respray, but just wondered where its gone now or still in Goa.

Vw Splitscreen
I saw it in the fields last year in may. I halted and went across to photograph it. Is the first photo the one I have posted elsewhere? Where was this being painted in 2007?

Karlos is that square window for sale?

Yes I saw first at the painters, end of december 07,I went there with Nitin in his splitty ,he was a friend of his. cant remember exactly where, but was about 40 mins drive from Panijim. The next time i saw it it was finished and parked in a field outside a large old house near calangute, then just dissapeared last year

Very interesting. This is the 1st time I am seeing a decklid badge of "VW 1200" other than the one fitted on my bug.

Here's a few pics of classic cars I spotted last month in Goa

Did not find out the story about the Fords

The Traveller was being repainted

Not sure if the PAL should be on here, but I thought it was rare (ish)

The PAL fiat is an owner-made modification. The fords look quite nice. I think the Anglia is the same one that was bought by a fellow tbhpian a few years ago and he was even getting it repainted in Goa before taking delivery of it but eventually changed his mind on it.

Spotted these VW's. You can see only one in the picture but the other one cannot be seen. Saw them while going to my farmhouse.

And our Beetle. I also have A DKW F92 and a VW Pickup which cannot be saved. But the DKW is possible. It doesn't have a engine.

Most of the vehicles deemed as goners have been amazingly restored. We had restored a Bay Window which was thought to be rust box.

Please do share the pics of the 2 vehicles above. We will try and analyze how far they can be restored.
