I guess this car may be closest to the model. Except that my grandfathers car had a flying lady ornament on the hood.

He also had a Opel Kadett (convertible) which he brought as a surprise birthday gift in 1938 for my grandmother ! He was quite the lifestyle person, who worked hard otherwise as a doctor. But his leisure times were all about tennis , driving and music. By the way, he had a Norton motorcycle as well

An original BHPian in every sense.

Hi Guys,

I had stopped thinking about my cars due to my disappointment on account of the restrictions imposed by NGT on our using our lovely vehicles. The rules are more strictly enforced in Delhi compared to other parts of India I am told.

Hopefully this is set to change. I have in anticipation once again lavished love and attention on my cars. Happy to share a few recent photos. Time has taken a toll but they are still beauties.

January 1930, dispute between the Aimila Automobile Co and the Nawab of Bhopal, who had traded in an older 12 cylinder Packard for a new silver 1928 8cylinder 7 seater tourer, which apparently went to Bahwalpur.
