P.S - Mods , i am not able to find my thread , Last minute Cold feet .
If it has moved may i know where , just wanted to add that now all the cold feet has gone , and time to spin ze wheels .

Dear mods, a one small suggestion, if we can have something like the poll counter which will indicate the car makers(GM,TATA,FORD ..etc) which will be selected as and when a member books a car. The counter should give a fair indication of what seems to be the most preferred choice of car make/brand and probably also will give an indication of general purchase trend of the indian public. I see a lot of Fiats and Tatas being purchased offlate. Fiats at one point were almost written off from wishlist of general indian car buyer because of its A.S.S but now seems like with the linea and punto they have kind of done a roundabout and are doing brisk sales numbers. Also with the cruze coming in defenitely we will see more purchases for the GM which again did not do so well in the indian market in the past. The sale of skoda which once used to be a very popular brand seems to be in the downward spiral due to its pathetic approach to its customers and the segment being bombarded with likes of cruze, altis etc. Please ignore if its not a valid suggestion, I just wanted to see what is the most popular brand in this forum and maybe get an insight of the emerging purchasing trends in current indian market scenario with so many new cars coming in.

Hi nuts & bolts. thank you for the welcome. i must remind you that i am not new to Fiat and only new to the punto.

i have been a fiat customer since 1997 with my uno and then a palio in 2001, this is the latest in the love affair with Fiat. and i am only delighted.

very eagerly looking forward to the car. the loan should be approved by tomorrow, and once the invoicing is completed, i will be given a delivery date.

lets hope the loan gets approved ASAP.

I believe the invoicing is done. The car has been ordered on FIAT. Sould get the delivery by First week of November.

I just booked with concorde Bangalore about the discounts and came to know about this. If you book a Punto and invoice by 24th Oct a car which are in stock then you will get discount for (extended warranty + first year free insurance + free roadside assistance), amount would depend on variant ofcourse. But the catch is if you like a colour which is not there then thou you may book by 24th Oct, you may not get the offered discount as company my discontinue the offer after 24th and invoicing would happen during actual delivery only which may be about 2 to 4 weeks.
Can any one confirm this please? I still went ahead with my booking.
