How does Venue DCT compare to Ecosport Tit+ AT (ignoring the difference in transmission)?

Do you mind letting us know the value that they are offering for your Alto?
They have offered 35k. My personal suggestion would be to visit All the dealers and see what they have to offer, as I did the same. In the end what amount you pay for the new car should matter rather than the price you are getting for your beloved.

My friend received a quote of 6.2 lakhs for the Delta variant of the Ignis which I feel is very high.
Maybe it is for a BS6 version? Very little BS4 inventory is left if not already exhausted AFAIK. And whichever dealership you visit please take things in writing, even if it is on a white paper.

Finally our Nexon was delivered in 14th November after a delay in RTO process. Surprisingly, Mud Flaps and Mats were given free by them which neither was a part of our deal nor we insisted. Delivery was hassle free and smooth unlike other processes. A box of chocolate was given to us and a cake.

Also saw a golden Altroz at the dealership and checked it inside out. Couldn't stop drooling over its overall quality and finishing! In a year or 2 there is a 99.99% chance that I'll post about it as replacement for mom's car in this thread.

Here's a photo of our newly acquired beast. Will try to write an ownership review soon.

Re: The "I Booked my Car" Thread

After contemplating for last 3 months, which car to buy, and almost zeroing in for Maruti Ciaz, we finally booked the Honda City.

As mentioned above, I had almost finalized on Ciaz, but was still waiting for the S-Cross Petrol to be launched and to test drive it also, before the final call.

While I was still waiting, I fell upon this irresistible offer on Honda City.

Wow RavenAvi! Congrats on your booking. This one in Red colour is just amazing, especially with the Dual tone roof. Will look forward to your ownership review too as this is a car after my own heart too.

Many congratulations RavenAvi sir. Hope the test drive converts into a purchase soon. Just curious to know as to why you didn’t consider the Auto box? Since, that was one most requested variant by majority of the people.

Call me an old school MT lover.

AT - maybe in 10-12 years' time when my reflexes & vision take a hit.

Backup booking:

Make : Hyundai
Model : All-new Creta
Variant : SX
Fuel : Petrol
Booking Date : 12/02/2020
Color : Lava Orange or Mulberry Red
Expected Delivery Date : April 2020
Freebies : None
Accessories Planned: None
Price : Rs 14L ex-showroom (tentative)
Booking Amount : Rs 10,000/- (fully refundable)
Dealership : Shivnath Hyundai, Jagdalpur
Personal take : Just a backup, in case the Tata dealership tries some antics with my Harrier booking. Final call come April. Let's see which dealership is more pro-active with getting back to me.
I am told that the new Creta will come with an improved ABS unit sourced from the Seltos and also different brake pads from the earlier-gen, and that there won't be any issues with braking. Let's see.

Oh well!! Lazarus-II coming soon, maybe?
About the response time of the dealerships; be rest assured that it will definitely be the Hyundai! TATA's Sales & Marketing team still has a long way to go; they are plain lazy. And this attitude of theirs is pan-India
Anyway, I wish you all good luck and whichever car you choose, may the ownership review be as detailed and fabulous as the one of the Lazarus! Looking forward to it.

P. S.: I too had purchased my 2015 Creta during the same time as your's (exact same variant too) and touch-wood, it is serving me well till date. Clocked a humble 40k KMS in 4.5 years.
