2018 Baleno puddle lamps: Installing LEDs for better illumination

I got 3.2W Autobahn LEDs which I had already used for the reverse lights & they were very impressive.

BHPian vivek2652 recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

I was very impressed by the light output of reverse LED lights (3.2 W Autobahn LED) so I ordered new LED bulbs for puddle lamps.

Following are the steps for this simple micro DIY.

Insert the screwdriver on one edge of the puddle lamp housing and pry open it.

Pull the bulb straight away. (Original puddle lamp bulbs are T10 5 W bulbs which I initially changed to 1 W Osram LED)

Insert new LED bulb. The bulb lit up in both polarities (Can any expert guide me on how that happened?)

Push the cover/assembly back into the slot and you are done.

Enjoy the Light output. I changed only the driver's side LED to show the difference in light.
