Mahindra trademarks XUV 3XO, XUV 5XO and XUV 7XO names

The XUV 1XO could be used for the electric derivative of the KUV100.

Mahindra has filed several new trademarks for its upcoming electric vehicles. As per a government website, the carmaker has filed applications for the XUV 1XO, XUV 3XO, XUV 5XO and XUV 7XO nametags.

The names could be used for Mahindra’s upcoming electric SUVs, which include its Born Electric range. Based on the INGLO platform, the pure electric version of the XUV700 has been dubbed XUV.e8. However, it seems Mahindra might use a different nomenclature for the production version.

Names like XUV 1XO and XUV 3XO are likely to be used on its entry-level electric offerings. The 1XO could be used for the electric derivative of the KUV100.
