Mercedes-AMG G63 Grand Edition launched at Rs 4 crore

Only 25 units of the 1,000 units made globally, will be available for the Indian market.

Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG G63 Grand Edition in India. The SUV is priced at Rs 4 crore (ex-showroom) and will be available in limited numbers. Deliveries will begin in Q1 2024.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 Grand Edition gets a few cosmetic changes on the outside. The SUV features a black exterior with Kalahari Gold Magno highlights and matching highlights on the bumpers and spare wheel cover. It rides on 22-inch AMG forged alloy wheels finished in Tech Gold and red brake calipers.

The Grand Edition has an all-black interior with gold highlights to match the exterior theme. The SUV gets black Nappa leather seats with gold stitching, a carbon grab handle, a 3-spoke AMG performance steering wheel and illuminated AMG emblems on door trims.

Powering the AMG G 63 Grand Edition is a 4.0-litre V8 engine that generates 578 BHP and 850 Nm. Mercedes claims that this brawny SUV will sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 220 km/h.
