Rumour: Hyundai Grand i10 facelift's India launch in February

Hyundai will reportedly be launching the Grand i10 facelift in India in February 2017. The car was globally unveiled 4 months ago in Paris, and has already been spotted testing on Indian roads. The facelifted model will come with some cosmetic updates on the outside and a few feature additions on the inside.

Majority of the cosmetic changes made to the updated model are concentrated at the front, as the Grand i10 facelift will come with a larger air dam, redesigned bumpers and boomerang-shaped fog lamp enclosures. The side profile will remain identical to the current model, though Hyundai might offer a new set of alloys with the facelift. At the rear, the new Grand i10 will get a redesigned bumper and a tweaked pair of taillights.

On the inside, the dashboard layout is expected to remain identical to the one currently on offer. However, the automaker will equip the top-end variants of the Grand i10 facelift with a touchscreen infotainment system that will support navigation. Earlier spy shots of the car on Indian roads also pointed towards the possibility of adjustable rear headrests on the updated model.

Mechanically, the Grand i10 facelift will be identical to the present model, and will thus be available with two engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.1-litre diesel.
