Scoop! Skoda Superb to be relaunched in India on April 3

The Skoda Superb will be imported via the CBU route and could be priced around Rs 55 lakh.

Skoda is bringing back the Superb to India. As per the latest update, the brand’s flagship sedan is likely to be launched on April 3, 2024.

The B8 generation Superb will be reintroduced in India, however, this time, it will be imported via the CBU route. A leaked internal document suggests that Skoda plans to bring 100 units of the Superb. It could be priced at around Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom).

Skoda is expected to offer a single top-spec 'L&K' variant of the Superb in India. The L&K trim will come equipped with Adaptive Auto LED headlamps and LED fog lamps with a cornering function. The India-spec Superb might come with 17-inch Stratos alloys.

Inside, the car will feature a Columbus infotainment system with Wired Smart Link, ventilated 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, a massage function for the driver’s seat, wireless charging, a Canton sound system with 11 speakers, 3-zone automatic climate control and a digital instrument cluster.

The Superb will also get Dynamic Chassis Control, Electronic Differential Lock, Active tyre pressure monitoring, Electronic Differential Lock, Park Assist with a 360-degree camera with Emergency Braking Assist and 9 airbags.

The 2024 Superb will be offered with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 188 BHP @ 4,200-6,000 rpm and 320 Nm @ 1,450-4,200 rpm. The engine will be paired with a 7-speed DSG.

The Skoda Superb is likely to get three colour options: Rosso Brunello, Water World Green and Magic Black.
