Suzuki launches upgraded Access at Rs. 53,223

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched a mildly upgraded version of the Access scooter at a price of Rs. 53,223 (on-road, Delhi).

The Access is available in five body colours - black, red, grey, white and silver. The scooter gets a steel front fender, aluminium grab rail at the rear and 3-D Access logos. Additionally, it is equipped with a maintenance free battery and tubeless tyres.

There are no mechanical changes to the Access. It continues to use the same 124 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine as before that comes with a button and kick start. The engine develops 8.58 bhp @ 7000 rpm and 9.8 Nm of torque @ 5000 rpm and is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission. Stopping power is provided by 120 mm drum brakes all round.

The Access has a telescopic fork at the front and a coil spring suspension at the rear. The scooter rides on steel wheels shod with 90/100-10 section tubeless tyres.
