Tata to supply over 200 Hexa SUVs to Bangladesh Army

Tata Motors has bagged an order for more than 200 units of the Hexa SUV from the Bangladesh Army. The carmaker will supply four-wheel drive versions of the Hexa to the military.

The Tata Hexa is not commercially sold in Bangladesh and will be available exclusively for the army. Private owners get to choose from the Indigo, Tiago and Nexon.

The Tata Hexa 4X4 is powered by a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 154 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of torque @ 1,750-2,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission which sends power to all four wheels.
