Tata X451 hatchback interior spied

More spy images of the Tata X451 hatchback have surfaced online. These new images give us a peek into the car's interior.

The Tata X451 is based on the 45X concept which was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. On the inside, the car gets a floating touchscreen infotainment system and a new 3-spoke steering wheel with a smaller sized hub compared to current Tata models. The instrument cluster consists of a twin-dial setup with a white backlight and a central MID.

The side profile of the car looks similar to the Maruti Baleno. It has flared wheel arches in the front and a strong shoulder line that rises up towards the rear. The car also has a small front quarter glass and a short rear overhang.

The production-spec X451 hatchback is rumoured to receive a tuned version of the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine and the 1.5-litre diesel unit offered on the Nexon. It might get a 6-speed manual transmission.

The Tata X451 (45X) is expected to be launched in the second half of 2019.
