I test drove the Creta EV a few days ago, and here are my observations comparing it to my TATA Nexon EV Max:
Drove the car about 15 kilometers. Got an efficiency of about 8.2 km/kwh with spirited driving so 340 km from 100% --> 15% should be easily achievable. For reference, I usually get around 8.7 km/kWh on the Nexon EV Max.
- Very intuitive to drive; everything functions as expected. Did not notice any software issues.
- The software experience is excellent. Inbuilt EV features are very useful for long trips. Don't have to use 5 different apps, payment and charging initiation can happen through the car itself.
- Most of the features can be turned on/off. It remembers your settings when you turn the car off and then on again.
- Visibility out of the car is good. Gave me confidence to drive faster than I usually do.
- Build quality, fit and finish is top notch. Everything is covered up nicely: no dangling wires, no weird noises from the plastics in the car.
- Seats are more comfortable and lot more legroom in the rear. Configurable steering and 8-way adjustable seat allows you to configure the seating exactly as you need.
- Lot of attention to detail: Seat pockets, cup holders, adjustable steering and many such minor things that make living with the car much more pleasant.
