Triumph is offering a year-end discount of Rs 18,000 on the Speed T4. The bike is now available at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Speed T4 was launched in September this year. It is a more affordable variant of the Speed 400 and features a single-piece seat and a semi-digital instrument console.
The Speed T4 is powered by the same 398cc, single-cylinder engine as the Speed 400. However, overall output has been restricted to 30.6 BHP and 36 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Another major difference is in the suspension setup. The less expensive Speed T4 gets a conventional telescopic fork instead of a USD fork at the front and a mono-shock rear suspension. Braking is handled by a 300 mm front disc with a 4-piston caliper and a 230 mm rear disc.
