TVS Apache RR 310 teased. Launch on December 6, 2017

The TVS Apache RR 310 will be launched on December 6, 2017. The brochure scans of the bike were leaked previously and now, the company has released its first official teaser video.

The video confirms that it will be called RR 310 and not RR 310S as previously thought. It gets twin projector lamps with LED DRLs up front and a windscreen and twin LED tail lights. It looks like the bike gets split seats and the rear under seat fairing has a “35 years of TVS Racing” decal. The model designation has been placed on the side fairing. The bike featured in the video is painted in a bright red shade and has a white racing stripe on the front cowl. The video also gives a glimpse of the “Race Spec” bolted steel frame which is also painted in red.

The TVS Apache RR 310 is based on the BMW G 310 R and uses the same 313 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the BMW which produces 33.5 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of torque @ 7,500 rpm. The RR 310 however, is likely to get a different engine tune. It is expected to be offered with a 6-speed transmission. The Apache RR 310 will be equipped with disc brakes at both ends and ABS is likely to be standard.

The new TVS Apache RR 310 will rival the likes of the KTM RC390, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Benelli 302R in the Indian market.
