TVS Jupiter - 5 lakh sales up!

The TVS Jupiter scooter, has crossed the 5 lakh sales mark. It has achieved this milestone in eighteen months since its launch in September 2013. TVS claims that it is the fastest scooter to achieve this reach the 5 lakh mark.

TVS Jupiter uses a 109.7cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, all-aluminum, petrol engine that puts out 8 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 8 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a continuous variablt transmission (CVT).

The scooter has a metal body and is currently available in six colours - Titanium Grey, Mercury White, Midnight Black, Volcano Red, Sparkling Silver and Matte Beige.
