Volvo India recalls vehicles due to faulty Bleeder Hose

Volvo recalls cars due to faulty Bleeder Hose

Volvo India has recalled certain models due to a faulty Bleeder Hose. It has been noticed that air bubbles may remain in the car's cooling system after refilling the coolant. Due to this, the cooling of the engine might get impaired, causing it to overheat. This could lead to engine damage or on rare occasions even a fire.

Globally, the models affected include the S80, S60, V70, XC70, S60 CC, V60, XC60, V60 CC, V40 and V40 CC which were manufactured between 2014 and 2018. The recall was first issued back in July 2020 in the international markets.

The repairs required to rectify the issue will be performed under warranty at no charge to the customer.
