How can i reslove this?
Just to clarify, where is the sync data (calendar/contacts) stored? MS Office Outlook / Outlook?

Or is it being done directly using Nokia PC suite?

I have never faced any issue as long as the phone is synced up from MS outlook or similar, irrespective of OS version.

Recently did a transfer for my dad's N95 from an older 6680, what i do is.

Sync the old phone to MS Outlook>Pair the comp with new phone>Sync back the details to the new phone.

Guys, please suggest something!

Also, how is E51. I heard from someone that its slow. Can somebody tell me whether this is true.

I'm not sure about the 6210's (Nokia Maps) licence validity. If you mean WayFinder Navigator (What mapmyindia provides, called iNavConnect), it is about 1100/- for 6 months.

Slow with respect to <insert make/model here>? You need a benchmark right?

I personally found E51 *blazing* fast compared to E50 and E61i, my prior possessions. I would say E51 is the best VFM offering in the non-QWERTY business/smartphone segment in the market currently.

HI Nishant,

Even i found the E51 a bit slow although its way faster than the 6300 and E61i. Just upgraded the firmware yesterday and its feels a bit faster now. Anyways plan on switching to the E71 in a few days and have put my phone up for sale.

How do i sync to outlook directly? Nokia PC suite does not have that option anymore it just directly backs up the data, thats how i have been doing it so far.

It does not as the 6230i is a very old model and keeps failing when i attempt to switch directly via bluetooth to the 6500c.

Go to Nokia Care tomorrow itself. They will replace it. I went today for my N82 battery issues and i missed 6 months by 15 days, so nothing can be done. I either have to live with it or buy new one.

Whaaa.... the N82 has six month warranty? Not a year? MAD

They should've atleast respected the warranty - I mean these battery issues rarely crop up with abuse by user!

Thanks a lot guys. I have made up my mind on the Nokia N78. Any negative feedback? Looks like quite a feature packed handset.

I think that is valid across the Nokia range. from basic 1500 rupees set to 30k sets.

Even if you consider laptops extended warranty(for 3 years) which costs hell lot of a money doesnt cover battery(which is covered for just an year)

Not much .

What I suggest is to take a demo first before taking the plunge.
I have demoed the same and dint go for it because.
1. Keys toooo small for my fingers.
2. If i am able to recall correctly the camera dint have protective cover. though you should double check that.

Speed looked ok as compared to Winmo phones

Ya, I need to do that. The keypad does seem a bit weird. Some reviews say that its inconvenient and some reviews say that its not as bad as it seems to be.
