Re: Flippy Keys

I have ordered for my flip key thru DSP. They have sent the tracking details on it. So when i check the status, it says "departure from transit office of exchange". Any idea what this means ?

Re: Flippy Keys

^^ It roughly takes 15 days from the date this status was updated to reach you. start inquiring with your post office from the 10th day, mine was returned thrice for sake of a day or two. It was not delivered to my home as there was no one to collect it at the time the post man came.

Re: Flippy Keys

Here are the pics of the flippy key.
Now i would like to know, does the key maker remove the key from the flippy key box and then make a duplicate or does he make it when the box is still on it. The reason i am asking is suppose he is going to keep the box and then duplicate the key, is not there the chances that he might break the box which is plastic make.
Any suggestions or thoughts on this please, as i am planning to get this done tomorrow.

Re: Flippy Keys

the blade has to be removed. Without removing the key cannot be cut. It is very simple to remove the blade from the case. There is put which holds the blade.

The guy who made the key for me was unable to cut it properly. It was jamming a little and the functioning was not smooth. I was scared of the new key ruining my original locks. What i did then? Cut the blade out of one of the original keys and asked the key maker to cut a flange to fix it in the case. There is a groove to hold the blade against the pin.

PS: My key works beautifully. The remote doesn't. The key maker dropped the silver button some where. I had to order it 4 times to receive it. my post office was sending it back everytime. So I had to order it to my US address and I brought it from there. Unfortunately, the new button doesn't fits the remote.

Re: Flippy Keys

Re: Flippy Keys

Yesterday, the Autocop remote for my Accent gave up
A new one would cost me around 900 bucks, also the guy recommended a flip key based Autocop remote for 1.5K.
Is it going to be really a genuine autocop?,do they make such products?
