In Bengalooru city driving condition(very bad compred to Chennai), I am getting 13.5 kmpl with wider tyre I use. This is before the first service and avg mileage of two readings of 300+ kms each.

I am yet to test on highway.

cheers

Congrats Anju on your new car.

I wonder why Hyundai has not put ABS for this car? For this engine it is absolute must.

Default ABS in hyundai CRDI

@ karthik

I had called few dealers( cochin and bangalore) to confirm on ABS in getz CRDI.
but they said there was no information provided on this by hyundai.
R u sure that the chennai dealer is sure about this....did he commit on this??

Can anyone provide more info on this if any???

Dear Ram,

See the first page of this thread, you have the pictues as well.

Its RED color this red hot car.....

Initally I was told by dealer that, this would come with ABS and GLS version. But look at what we got GVS version with no ABS. So dealer were not sure of the prodcut they were going to sold....now thats the case of Getz CRDi.

I am not sure, If it makes sense to wait for ABS version in near future unless you have accurate news or if your ok with the wait(I waited for year for this car).

Cheers

Made a request for a TD via website for the Getz Crdi. According to the website it costs 5.85 here at Trivandrum. Add 6% for road tax. Any idea how much the insurance would be?

Should be around 2.2-2.3% of the ex-showroom price.

An update

I got a call from a Hyundai guy from Bangalore based on the TD request I had send via their website.

He said he can provide me with Getz CRDi with ABS at a cost. He said it will cost 30-40k in Bangy and he can provide a car for TD . The price for ABS can differ between states it seems.

He said I can expect a call from a Tvm dealer who can provide me with a TD car.
