i maintain 29 in all four tyres of my gtx. the tyres are 175/65s.

i thought 185/65 R14 is the right upsize from 175/65 R14 - because it gives less odo/speedo error compared to 185/60s.

185/60 r14 is the right upsize from 175/65 r14

185/65 r14 is the right upsize if you are upsizing the 1.2 which comes with the 13inch wheelrim

google for tyre bible , on page 2 they have the upsize calculator you can use to calculate the overall diameter

Tyres for Palio S 10

Hi,it's time to change tires on my Palio S10.Earlier I replaced my Altura's Bridgestones with Michelin XM 1's on Ishan's advice. They are nice tires and really compliment Altura's looks and ride. But this time I'm looking for some sporty look tires.

Sport look tires for S 10

Car is originally fitted with 185/65/14 Goodyear NCT 3.These tires have lasted 49000 kms but they are very noisy. Now I'm looking for low noise tires with some sport look pattern and soft side walls,as suspension is very hard in S 10.So far,I have short listed Bridgestone MY 01,Yokohama ES100 and Appolo Accelere Sportz.I liked S drive the most, but it's not available in this size.Any suggestion from experts ?

Maybe then some S10's had different set of tires...

Options in 185/65 are very limited, are you willing to consider 185/60 or 195/60?? In both sixes you'll get a very long list of options.

Ride is already hard even with 65 profile and 28 psi. What about 185/70/14,I don't care much about speedo error

sans - go through the previous posts - 185/70/14 is a wrong upsize and the tyres will foul with the wheel arches. try switching to 195/60 R14.

@ ishaan - will 195/60 be a proper fit in the stock fiat alloy?

If it's 5.5J or above, it should be just fine.

Hi Ishan, are ES100 available in 185/65/14 ?Original alloys are 5.5J but don't want to go beyond 185 for FE concerns.
