Arka, any pics from the (first?) obstacle? the steep climb, table-top plateau, followed by steep descent/right turn at base.

These Recce seem to be loads of fun and experience for the Chennai Offroaders.

I know its much to ask however am there in Chennai on 27th weekend. any chances of a Recce#5.5 on 27 June (Sunday)? or for the recce 5 to be postponed?

@ Ironwolf, we would love to have you over at the TPC10, but now it is difficult to change the recce schedule, we need to service all our vehicles any do any pending work, so too many recce's in a short span become very hectic.

@ Jaggu, in the monsoons the river flows to the sea for a few days maximum a few weeks.

The Systematic Sand Quarrying has created large voids(Ponds) which fill up with water, and impede the flow of the water to the sea, these man made ponds (1000s of them) stagnate the water and help recharge the ground water levels, and Palar is a Subterranean River.

FE, Not bringing vehicle on June 24th. But surely considering for the event, depending on my Vehicle set up, vehicles driving down from Blr.

How the heck do they mine the sand, i mean what vehicle? Tractors coz lorries i don't think will move??
