Anyone from T-BHP

I saw this superb gurkha in topslip last week. Does it belong to someone we know?

Looked fantastic with the bull bar removed and a huge WARN winch and custom bumpers. GWagen stickers are out of place on such a nice mod though!

Gurkha looks much better in a way without Bull bar. That boxy design of Gurkha is like the 70s and 80s Gypsy or Lada Niva in more visible without bull bar.

@NIP,
Yes,I do use Yokohama 275 x70 x16 A/T tyres.Its only a month that I have put them in place,hence it would be premature to comment.However another TBHPian, Rahul, who has been using them for quite a long time dosent rate them favourably.
I put them to use to climb a mountain once and then to traverse a 30Km jungle stretch,I found them superb.They had a good grip and dont slip easily on gravel.

I have gone for it because he is standing there and guiding me every KM my Gurkha covers. Gurkha is like a Pitbull, if you are not careful and good enough during initial break-up period it will eat you up.

As I said elsewhere "You may buy the Gurkha, but it's the vehicle which own you"

i have been following the posts regarding gurkha for a while.I own a farm house in the foot hills of vindhya and hence need a reliable offroader.
we own a trax judo 1999 and really great fan that vehicle .
I m planning to buy a new gurkha soon , could you please tell me whether new engine of gurkha is as reliable the old one .The local dealer of the force motors told me that i have to deposit 1lac upfront and they would deliver it in 45 days

Hey, I do not know if it is reliable or not but they are offering 300,000 kms or 3 years warranty on vehicle, without paying anything and it is standard warranty not the extended one. I am sure this would put you with peace.

If you like Judo you might as well like it. But remember it would be cramped vehicle when compared to Judo. and the rear bench being right on wheel arch, the rear seat passengers are never going to be happy.

Other option would be Force Gamma with 4wd. It would not have the diff. locks, 16" wheels and guess they are not releasing it with BSiii engine of Gurkha.

This Gurkha is of a team Bhpian. I have seen videos of this Trax on You tube. Some one called rrnsss (i dont know if i got it right) he has been a Gurkha owner for long time. He also had a long wheel base Gurkha. Check out similarity in vehicle grill-

A lot of us really like that bull guard. There is a strong lobby on this site and in Delhi that is pushing for removal of this bull guard but informed sources have recently disclosed that this lobby gets much of its funding from bulls.

I know him, but I never knew that he is a Bhpian. Actually rrnsss, I think is his friend. This Gurkha belongs to a Doctor named Dr. Jai kumar. Oh my god I have seen his collections, he has a Jonga ! He is into 4x4 than some automotive engineers.
