Any modifications planned for the Major? Why do you want to sell your classic? I think many people here were looking for a classic, have you sold it yet? Please keep us posted on your Major.
Yeah Kuttapan even i did get to see a glimpse of his 4X4 in orkut.

Aby sir are you sure its a classic ?? i guess its a cj340 version of classic. Please could you clarify..but your collections are great and your Major looks great in alloys, probably the first ever Major in kerala to wear alloys.

Hi All,

Is it even possible to fix doors on driver side and passenger side of the major? any thoughts?

Why don't you upload some current set of pictures of the Major here itself. It will be really good to see a Major in alloys.

Have a look at GTO's threads on his classic. He has mentioned about the plastic kind of fabricated doors for classic. Something similar may be done for the major also.

Those chrome plated alloys look a little out of place on the Jeep. Otherwise the new Major look very handsome. I see it has the single lever 4WD shifter.

The pajero offers you both. You have a central locking differential, coupled with open diffs at the front and rear. Additionally you can select between,2wd,and 4wd.
cheers

I have always insisted that alloys make the car; post no.251 couldn't have been more of a testament. Damn, that's a good looking Jeep (don't like the colour though). And so refreshing to see a brand new "old" Jeep....I have gotten used to seeing a mix-match of parts, jugaad & rust under the hood of these Jeeps. This is brand new

@ Abiacherian:

1. How do you find the engine performance for daily usage?

2. MRF Zigmas : Long time no see that pattern. Are you happy with the rubber? Any reason why you chose the Zigmas?

I can see so much of the Classic in this Jeep, its ain't funny. Even the brake fluid setup is identical. Not a patch on modern cars, but Mahindra has come a long way in build quality.
