Nice business model. Sell "the car and a stint at the academy "as a package.

Not really business. It is like pay it forward. I was taught by Arka for free in 2007 in Chennai. Later when I bought the CJ340 from Jammy, he ensured I attend couple OTR events. This is how we get more people into offroading.

Navin, this is what they do to make people cross over to the "other" side. Take them to an OTR or show them the capabilities of the jeep over some obstacles and then cast the spell. After that it's all down hill for your bank account.

You can learn even without one, like I did. But eventually you will need a vehicle to practice.

Congratulations. That was bound to happen, your jeep is one of a kind. I did inquire about it over mail, but just could not make it work. I am glad its gone into worthy hands.

My hunt for my Jeep continues.

A strange development. The new owner's father is not happy with the purchase, and has forced the Jeep back into the market. If anyone is still interested, let me know, I'll put you in touch with the new owner.

. I so feel like I am getting a second chance to own this dream machine, but don't know how to arrange for the money. I had to redirect the money set aside for a jeep.

Jammy is no more active in the Jeeping circle. BTW, you are trying to buy a Jeep from Belgium? If you are in India, we can suggest some local contacts based on your location.

Samurai, which is better as a 3rd vehicle for casual off-roading(like the one you guys did in choma kunda.
Am trying to decide between an older jeep/gypsy king. Budget is a bit flexible but considering the low usage I don't want to spend more.
Which is a better option?
Any contacts in B'lore are appreciated.
