Congrats on the Jeep, I think I am one of the lucky few to have seen this beauty in real. I am guessing it was two weeks back that I happened to spot your Jeep in the bylanes of JC Road ( the road parallel to the main road which is a one way ) when I was looking for a painter there. Thought I will come back and take a picture of the Jeep but when I came back it was gone to my disappointment

You get loads of these things here in SP road. i am sure you find lots of them in chennai too.

It has Radio, SD card and USB reader. No CD nothing. but i guess Radio and USBis more than enough. performance So far so good.

Hi Nishanth,

Brilliant restoration !! - I liked the project management approach for your Jeep build :-)
Can you give us an idea of the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), for the restoration + registration ?

Many thanks

Fantastic re-build

Dear Nishanth,

This is a fantastic thread - I particularly enjoyed the pictures where you were helping prepare parts of the jeep. Having gone through a recent re-build myself, I know the time, effort and dedication which goes into it - but it is all worth the labor of love. You have a wonderful vehicle now and wishing you many happy journeys. Will love to see it in person when I am next in Bangalore.

Cheers,
Spyder
