Thanks anil, I think the photss are misleading as far as the roll cage is concerned. It is in the right proportions. And actually the snorkel head is over sized. No plans on correcting that till now

No those are fused rims , two gypsy rims joined . They are quite heavy but looks good though.

re: Maruti Gypsy Pictures

But dont you think that it wont be safe if you fuse two wheels into one. just wanting to know what would be the reliability of such wheels. Aren't there other options like going for bigger size wheels.

Thanks
Raj

Nanju,
Those wheels look great! What make and size of tyres are you using? Does the added weight of the rims affect your fuel consumption?
Regards,
Ashok

Hi raj, I did nearly 1000kms in last one week in the gypsy with those wheels, doesn't seems to have any problem. options are always there to go for a 8j or 10j offset alloys but not wheels.

I am running on 255/70/15 tires, nope added weight hasent affected my fuel consumption. 10-12kms was my last trip's fuel consumption average.

re: Maruti Gypsy Pictures

The GYPSY passion never ends, our first gypsy was a 1994 model 410W (Painted in blue) which was rebuilded very tastefully, the relaiabality, perfomance, and the road presence offered by that vehicle even inspite of beigng almost 2 decade old reinforced the Gypsy passion and as a result here comes the Gypsy KING, 2006 Model, MG413W MPFI. This is also going to be upgraded with a lot of modofications planned, shall start a seperate thread on that later in the 4x4 Vehicle forum.

Let the pictures speak further, i'll start with the pictures of our good old friend (410W) followed by the new KING's.

Congrats on your buy Anil .

Frankly speaking I don't remember seeing a civilian owned MPFI Gypsy.

Tell me how did you acquire this beauty?

Thanks, Jose.
