Although I am new to Team-BHP but I have always been addicted to cars.

I guess I can safely say that I am now addicted to team-BHP also. It is always open in the background in my office and even the smallest amount of times I get, I click the 'New Posts' button to see if something that interests me has been posted. In around two months I have read dozens of complete threads, User Reviews , Test Drives and Super Car spotting threads.

The imaculately written Test Drives and user reviews help me keep my GK updated (I need to keep it updated as everybody around me knows my passion for cars and I am the official Car Suggestor for most of them).

The respect,love that flows in this forum is admirable and I just feel I am the right place.

A couple of days back when I was doing a presentation, instead of word team building I had put Team BHP in a couple of places on one of the slides.

My boss was like

During one of conversations on office communicator in conference mode whenever someone exited they wrote BFN (Bye for now) and I replied BHP

Didn't have access to internet for 6 days when my pop was hospitalised back at my home town. Got ultimatum from boss and went to internet cafe to check my inbox. However,believe it or not, the first thing I did was to check Team-bhp !

Then I knew I am hooked for life

There was a time when we used to first open up Outlook or Yahoo or other email/online news applications after the system boots up.

Now its Team-BHP.com - first thing to check in the morning and re-check again, and again.

Now if thats not addiction, what is?

Another strange phenomenon is that several times, I've tried to open my apartment door with my car remote

. May not be directly an after effect of browsing team-BHP.com, but still and addiction of kinds.

My addiction started in 2008 (I was not a BHPian then and joined the forum last month) and I was planning to buy my first car then. Got hooked up with Team-BHP and there it started. My day starts/ends in office with Team-BHP and at home whenever I get time. My better half was not very pleased with this and initially she thought I was writing a blog or something. But now she understands my passion and got used to it.

Almost all of the reasons are pointed out already but the one that really got me was. I was typing in another forum about mobile phones and there customer service( and i typed A.S.S

) and the Admin asked me if i was from Team-Bhp.

Didn't know that such simple things could so that I am so addicted that it has become a part of my vocabulary!

Every time I open my laptop, I routinely do two things. First start downloading mails via outlook and while downloading surfing Team-Bhp.

I guess that makes me addicted too.

Yes I am on team-bhp at the least once a day!
I refer to the forum at least once during almost any conversation with friends and even in office
and yes I have subscribed to email notification to threads to get notified of updates to the thread!

I have team-bhp sticker on my car and when driving keep looking for other car with the sticker...

Well addicted - you bet I am.
