Delivery date is not correct - I took it yesterday. I had some health issues, I delayed the delivery. But why should that show up?

One of my friend is taking delivery of Seltos next week. Please help to decode this VIN - MZBET811VKN013136.

Is there any general vin decoding guidelines for KIA like we have for other manufacturers ?

Hi Team-BHP friends. I need some advice on purchasing a brand new car with respect to it's manufacturing date.
I am in the market for purchasing a Honda Civic VX CVT from Pride Honda Banjara Hills, Hyderabad dealer.
I made an initial token payment and made a booking for the car.
My sales agent has informed me yesterday that the vehicle has been delivered from the factory, and on requesting shared the VIN number with me - which is MAKFC665DKN001039. This is clearly an April 2019 manufactured car!

On inquiring with the dealer, they are sharing that cars are coming from factory with such old manufacturing date.

Is this possible? Am I being taken for a ride?

Can anyone of you help with guidance and suggestions please?

i have been assigned a Ecosport with VIN: MAJAXXMRKAKT20714

i could decode that this is Aug, 2019 manufactured. can someone pls provide with the exact date of production? Also, this being late October, a 2 month old car can be taken without any apprehensions? (of course, no substitute for a thorough PDI).

Yes you are being taken for a ride. 6 months is too long. Please ask for a newer vehicle or threaten to cancel your booking.

I have already stopped the purchase and escalated with Honda Cars India through their customer relations phone number and email.
Waiting for response from them and hopefully this will be resolved.
