It seems to mention a 20 digit VIN for Jeep Compass which is the standard for all FIAT cars starting with MCA where the 19th and 20th digits seem to give away the month and year. Yours is a 17 digit VIN and i guess what's mentioned in your URL as 2018 compass refers to the model year and not the year when your car was manufactured. I might be wrong. Check your RC book or some other document for a 20 digit VIN. Just thought of sharing.
