I also thought this that to match the surface of the door i would add a spacer but it will be a diffcult and time consuming job and the result will be just 3-4 inches above the final place which i think will not gonna make a big differance if installed in the final position.....

Just saying this since you have named ID8 and Illusion 8" as options.

ID8 is a sub.

Illusion 8" are not subs. They are midbass drivers sold as pairs, capable of low bass, since the Fs is about 40 Hz. They cannot still, in any way, compared to the ID8.

ID8 might be a bit too deep for a door. Not sure about that though, Gunbir would know better.

Illusion 8 inchers are 2.5 inches deep.

I do not suggest using a 8" sub with your configuration since you already have subs. It is not right to have 2 dissimilar drivers playing the same frequency range in the same setup.

the mounting depth of id8 is 4.75 inch and the illsion is 2.5

Exactly, no use putting a sub in those doors, irrespective if it fits or not... which the iD8 wont! not without some serious modifications and custom builds. The Illusion 8 midbass (or such drivers) are the right way to go...

LBM, the Iridiums 6.3 woofers have good low bass, why do you want more... I mean if 6.5" midbass is good enough for Scott Buwalda....

Use better subs to get upfront bass. Putting 8" in the rear doors is a waste of money & effort, they will not help in improving upfront bass.
