With your budget you ought to defer the purchase of the amplifier.
HU: Pio, JVC, Kenood etc..(6-7K)
Speakers: Hertz, JBL, Illusion, Polk, etc.. (10-11 K)

Guys,
I am getting my Swift LDI in a couple of days and looking for a decent audio system. After going through this thread, I am kind of biased towards JBL GTO 607c (Guess, 608c has replaced 607c) for front and JBL GTO937 for rear. Please suggest if this looks okay or should I look for other options as well. In case other options what should it be. How much the set i mentioned will cost?
Also, what about the player (HU). How much does pioneer costs and which one is better. I have heard of 3050/4050/3090/5090/6050 But don't have any idea about price and difference in terms of performance.

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

Hi Nitrous, I think the prices have come down. I was quoted a price of 8.5K around 2 months back in Hyderabad. Of course it is with out B&W.

dudes cool off i think there must have been a mistake some where, may be they(shop guys) meant 6950 pio instead of 6050 at 6K. i got my 6950 at below 6K just when the new series got launched.

Hi guys,

Any inputs on the setup?

GTO608c-Front
GT5693-Rear
Pioneer 5090

What would be the price breakdown... can it be done within 15~16K? How much would an AMP for front speakers will cost?

Help please

Pioneer 5090UB (with B&W) costs about 8800 (10k MRP - 12% discount) in bangalore.

Hi, I think that will fit into your budget. GTO-608c would cost you around Rs. 6750 (MRP) that is you can get it for 6K and GT5 693 for another 3K I suppose. So total 8K+6K+3K=17K.
