Dude i had no idea 7950and 7900 are same. Please can you confirm if its same. Also is there any other option at that price. My requirement is to have BT an well as USB. I am planning to go got BT bcoz its easy to get USB cable. And if i go for 7950UB then BT adaptor will be costly.

Thoughts???

Dude. I told you before You need USB adapter for playing through USB not USB 'cable'.:
Pioneer Electronics - Sound. Vision. Soul

There is not much diff in cost of BT adapter and UB adapter I think you'll do much more saving if you go for UB one and get BT adapter for it.

And 7950 7900 are all same. 7900 is whta you call thm in US and 7950 is what you call in india.

I think people here have helped you enough to make you decide which HU is good and which is not. Cheers!!!

wat are suggested speakers (for a 4 speaker setup) for this HU for the ALTO?If possible include prices without bill and warranty and where to get them in Calcutta?
I have the 7950UB and have mated it with Illusion 4" components.. they sell at 5K with bill. and sound like a 5" comp.. I have a Spark.. so same stock locations like the Alto..

There is an optional wire available for this HU, which, when connected, enables you to "MUTE" it. I was thinking up of rigging up this connection with a switch. Anybody done this?
