Nah, it really destroys my budget unfortunately. Also the absence of USB is a deal-breaker as I plan to basically buy a 4GB pen drive and run music off that.

does anyone lnow where could I find a USB adapter for 8950BT - pioneer. I was under the impression that the USB was on board. One I opened, I realised that it has some square connector at the rear which needs a adapter plug.

B'lore references shall be appreciated.

SIR LBM - Unfortunately my 8950 does not have such a colourful display. It looks more like a "eastman colour". Is that how it is supposed to be OR would there be any upgrades to make it look colourful???

Hey guys!

When i play my ipod through the 7950's direct ipod connection, whose DACs are being used? The ipod's or the head unit's? Since the connection to the headunit is not through the headphones jack on the ipod, i'd assume the headunit's?

No SIR here. anyways the 8950 is a older series HU. Usb can be connected to the HU with external adapter which costs approx 5k. But the text on the display will be limited to 8 characters because of the old series new ones shows 20.

@LBM,

I was acutally fascinated by the display screen on your HU snapshot. My 8950 does not have that true colour display. It is more like dot matrix. Which pioneer model was your snapshot of???

^ post it in the classifieds. And with the new rules, you will need pictures of your piece, not just a generic internet jpeg.
