Awesome HUs. Both 7650 and 7950. I owned both but got sold off along with my old car.

Also I remember reading in the Pio manual that it will not support drives with partiton. it was not mentioned whether it would work with a drive with two FAT32 partitons or not. So my "guess" is that it might not work with USB harddrives that are partitioned at all.

the 2950/3950/4950/5950/6950 series were launched. Now, to replace this series, the 2050/3050/4050/5050/6050 series have been introduced.
I've been wondering.
The 2850 was replaced by the 2950 and hence, the replacement would be 3050. Since the increments have always been in 100s.
So, the 5950 was replaced by the 6950 and now the 6950 will ned to be replaced by the 7050.
My theory.But...

looking at the spec, the 6050 seems to have a delta Sigma DAC, which the 5050 doesnt have.

Will this make a difference when running a pair of good comps off the HU ?

( I know that a better DAC = better sound , want to know if it makes a differnce in the above case)

In addtition, i like the 5050's segmented display better than the dot matrix 6050. But SQ matters

^^I need to choose between the 5050 and the 6050.
I did notice the DAC .But, how much of a difference would it make?
What else does the 5050 lack?
