I have yet got to get the dash kit. Trying to find about this from Skoda as well. They had a Fabia ACTIVE model which came without the headunit. So trying to get the same dash kit used in this active model.

If not than there it is a kit available in UK from Skoda accessories. Trying to source it some way.

?koda Accessories

?koda Accessories

Or else in the end will have to fabricate the dash kit.

I have previously also directed you to this ebay seller (SOPORTE RADIO SKODA FABIA FACIA ADAPTOR FASCIA - eBay (item 360141430119 end time Jun-21-09 04:59:30 PDT))

Frank got his universal learning remote from this guy and he ships all over the world. Worth trying him out I think.

Now playing a waiting game - let's see when the price reduces again. Else, onlinecarstereo is a backup. 7.5k is still a great deal.

The one for 150$ is factory refurbished.
So i'd rather prefer the 170$ than the refurbished 150$

Illusion Electra 6.1. Go with closed eyes and just buy them. Very nice, balanced and natural sound, NOT LAID BACK AT ALL.

I found the JBLs a bit bright.

Havent heard Alpines so cant comment.

Oh, I missed that! Yeah, better to put $20 more and get a new piece rather than a factory reconditioned one.

Friend or relative. But it won't be till late next month, which is fine with me since I am in no rush. Also gives me a chance to let the price go down again.

I dont think he would buy the clarion.
It would be a downgrade from the 9887.

If its at Kalaghoda in the morning, I can be there as I have to go to CST around 10 am. So please keep it around 11 am

P.S. - Franky is not buying a HU anymore. I scolded him a lot yesterday. He needs to understand the value of money and curtail all 'unnecessary' expenses in a recessionary scenario. Now Frank is miffed at me and doesnt take my calls also. My teeth have lost the opportunity of being treated by this legendary dentist-in-making.
