That's what I thought too at first, but the brochure shows the displays with white Bezel in the interior photos. Hopefully they offer some options to pick the color along with the interior color options.

Seems like an interesting upgrade option if priced right (~45-50L) and the following points are addressed: 1. Ground Clearance, and 2. Spare Wheel

I do not see the ground clearance listed on the Indian spec sheet as well. With a 3m wheelbase, it gives me the jitters if the ground clearance is too low.

Additionally, do we know if the ioniq 5 will come with a spare wheel (even a space-saver) in India or if Hyundai is offering RFTs? None of the international reviews point to a spare wheel.

+100. I thought I was the only one. If this was all black, it would have looked so much better. Definitely an after market mod that prospective owners should consider.

There is no space for a spare wheel in the car, they will just a give a puncture repair kit (Confirmed for the Indian variant also as it is listed like that on the website/brochure)

The EV6 has the same screens but with black bezel but the Ioniq 5 sold worldwide only has the white bezel and even the the infotainment system itself is a light/white theme rather than a dark theme (although I believe this is configurable in the settings), I think they made this decision to match the interiors as the primary interior colour for the Ioniq 5 is greyish/whiteish and for the EV6 it's black.

Autocar India’s review of the Ioniq 5:

https://www.autocarindia.com/car-rev...t-drive-423123

Quote:
Like most EVs, the Ioniq too runs out of volts at the top end, and beyond 130kph, performance drops off quite sharply. It’s fast and effortless for most overtaking duties and a flex of the right foot is met with a satisfying lunge to the horizon, but what’s also obvious is that the Ioniq 5 is not a sporty, performance car and in fact feels quite the contrary.

Why am I not surprised.

Honestly speaking, Hyundai and Sporty do not go hand-in hand (keeping N-versions aside).

During my test drive, even the powerful 400HP Polestar did not feel too sporty, so I can't blame the reviewer to feel this way for a less powerful and softer tuned Hyundai EV.

He s driving the dual motor version with 600+ NM of torque and 300+ hp. Was hoping it was an India specific review for the rear wheel drive version.

But ya it's the general trait I have observed with the ZS EV also. Where it helps is that you get back to cruising speed very fast. Besides in India it's hard to push beyond 120 often.
