Great work, Nilanjan. A few "snapshots" from my side!

A few shots of Sunrise at Kovalam Beach, ECR, near Chennai, TN taken last Sunday. The Bikers were not intended, but they suddenly appeared surfing the shoreline and I framed them in and they added value. Nikon D610+Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 VR.

Nice colourful shot!

my question from the last two pictures, the blurring in the edges are added in post production or is it the characteristic of the Tamron lens?

Great picture by all clap:

Thank you, Arvind! Tamron is a great lens! Blurring is post to draw attention to the bikers. Great bird portraits, Arvind! haven't managed a proper 'Sun Bird' portrait yet, they're so timid and tiny.

This is a really interesting thread that I’ve somehow missed all these days. Here are some recent pics clicked on my mobile ... which makes me a phone-tographer, I suppose. The first image is the view from my attic window. You see Lake Constance and the Swiss Alps towards the top left. On a clear winter day the mountains appear much close than they are in this pic. The second is from a daytrip to Austria. A warm cup of coffee is especially inviting after a day in the snow with my boys who never seem to run out of energy.

Hope you all are doing well!

I do a bit of photography as a hobby, at least twice a month I make it a point to get out there somewhere to take pictures. These few weeks have been a bit difficult for me as I have not been able to be out there taking pictures.

The gear as well seems to have got a bit of lockdown laziness, my telephoto lens did not like to do any optical image stabilization at all. It took some time in the sun and a few knocks for it to get back to life.

I climbed up to the terrace of the apartment to see what we can find and more importantly it is about me not forgetting how to take pictures, a bit of practice is needed to keep to keep the hobby going.

Here is what I was able to see through the foliage on the terrace of our small apartment. I am naming them as to what I think they are, corrections welcome.

I`m not spending any time processing it as i`m not going to keep these pictures, a practice session for once the lockdown ends and i`m able to travel.

Let me know how you all are keeping your photography passion alive through these tough times.

Just came across this. That's a really amazing picture of the temple.
Would it be okay with you if we share it on our facebook page for the temple?

Many thanks
Rohin

Hope everyone is safe and taking adequate precautions. A couple of shots taken before the lockdown started.

Himalayan thar. Shot after careful stalking. Wanted the valley and the peaks in the backdrop.
