Thankooo Samurai and benbsb .
benbsb nice picture. Where is that Kuttanad /Vembanad side? Pheww so tempting mate, a boat anchored rite there and some kallu with karimeen. PRICELESS !!

Was stuck in road blockade on my return from Mercara.Captured this while we were stranded in some village on the outskirts of Mysore.

alapuzha - changanacherry road. and this 24kms stretch is whre you get good kallu etc. a stretch one ought to drive/ride as now we have new wider roads.

best part is that if you skid off the road etc you are safe either you are in a muddy paddy or a channel/river

That green needs to be fixed... may be something like this.

Photoshop experts can do better justice I suppose.

Off topic.

I agree with that. With hardly any potholes, and beautiful scenery on both sides, makes for an amazing drive. The shops selling fresh seafood and kallu are a treat.

Risty, the snap i posted was of the backwaters in Alapuzha. Nice and refreshing, i should say.

Tifo, liked the first one a lot. A crop from bottom could be worth looking at.

Thanks for your comments.
The shot exif : 4.5 seconds exposure at F8, but thats 1/10 of the story.
The original shot is very very different
Changes are
1. Cropping
2. Cloning out buildings in Post processing
3. Gaussian blur overlays for a dreamy effect
4. Sharpening
5. Hue Saturation adjuetment
6. Color balance adjustment
Original
